Safari’s sister company, Braai Bricks for Africa (charcoal briquette factory) is partly owned by a black female partner, Dulcey Mjekula.

Safari is the official sponsor of the LGS Eden Super Series Rugby 0/11 1st team. This event is held annually at the Primary School, Laerskool George-Suid, in George, Western Cape.
